About Us

Sir Keith Park School, a specialist school in Auckland, seeks an exceptional teacher to join its outreach service. Our team provides itinerant teaching support to students with special needs within local mainstream schools.

We are looking for a motivated and self-managing teacher who can work collaboratively as part of our team. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and experience working one-to-one or in small groups with students who require additional support.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide individualized teaching support to students with special needs in mainstream schools
  • To collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement effective learning plans
  • To communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure seamless support

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Current and clean driver's license
  • Ability to travel using your own vehicle and be reimbursed for expenses incurred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working with students who require additional support
