We're currently seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team at Kawerau Power Station. As a key member of our geothermal production team, you'll be responsible for maintaining, operating, managing, and continuously improving our geothermal generation assets.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring optimal, efficient, and safe plant operations, prioritising Health and Safety and risk management, and implementing work control and permit to work planning, issue, and management. You'll also work collaboratively with others to ensure safe access to generation equipment and contribute to defect detection, resolution, and elimination using your technical knowledge and plant understanding.

To succeed in this role, you'll require a trade or engineering qualification (electrical/mechanical or equivalent) and experience working in heavy industry, preferably in the electricity generation industry. A passion for renewable geothermal energy and excellent organisational skills coupled with confident communication are also essential.
