Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving patient specimens collected from clinics and medical centers, scanning samples using barcode scanners, recording and managing specimen collections, and sorting and distributing patient specimens to COVID labs.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive patient specimens and scan samples using barcode scanners
  • Record and manage specimen collections on a daily basis
  • SORT and distribute patient specimens to COVID labs
  • Aid in the allocation of samples to laboratories
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures in the department at all times

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE N/O/A Levels or Diploma in any field
  • No experience required as on-job training provided
