Job Description

The National Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis will drive the transformation and development of modern financial frameworks that enhance reporting, forecasting, and analytics. This role is responsible for leading a team of professionals to coordinate and manage overall financial planning, rolling forecasting and budgeting processes.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Developing and communicating the Long-Term Financial Plan to meet the current and future funding needs of the business, aligning with organisational strategies and external environment;
  • Analysing monthly business results and their potential risks, producing meaningful reports and analysis;
  • Designing and implementing integrated management reporting and analysis, leveraging current and evolving information system capabilities.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Membership of CAANZ or experience within a technical financial environment with a financial planning and analysis lens;
  • Significant leadership experience within a large complex organisation (commercial preferred), with strong experience in financial performance reporting, planning and analysis;
  • Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking & analytical capability;
  • Experience with business intelligence systems, particularly Microsoft PowerBI, database systems/queries, report writing, SQL, and high-level skills in Excel.
