This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Oral Health Therapist to join our team at Waitemata District Health Board. As a key member of our Eastern oral health team, you will play a critical role in improving the oral health outcomes of patients in Thames, Coromandel and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
As an Oral Health Therapist with our team, your key responsibilities will include conducting oral health assessments, developing individualized care plans, providing preventive and therapeutic dental treatments, educating patients on oral hygiene practices and disease prevention, and collaborating with the wider healthcare team to promote holistic patient care.

As an Oral Health Therapist with our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and contribute to the overall well-being of our community.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong clinical skills and experience working in oral health care. You must also be a team player who can work effectively with dental assistants and other members of the healthcare team. A strong understanding of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi is also essential.
