Role Overview

This part-time veterinarian opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about animal welfare and wants to make a real difference in the lives of animals in need. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to animals, working closely with our experienced veterinary nurses and support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing medical care to animals, including routine check-ups, surgeries, and emergency cases.
  • Working collaboratively with our veterinary team to ensure seamless care and treatment of animals.
  • Developing and implementing effective treatment plans to meet the needs of animals in our care.
Requirements
  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration with the Veterinary Council of New Zealand.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical practice, preferably in shelter medicine.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
