**About the Opportunity**

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team at Farmlands as a Retail Salesperson. The successful candidate will work 3 hours per week on Saturday mornings at our Te Puke store.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide exceptional retail sales and customer service to our shareholders.
  • Advise customers on a range of sheep and beef, dry stock and general agricultural products.
  • Operate a point of sale (POS) system with ease.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as ordering and receipting of stock.
  • Restock and display our products in an attractive and well-maintained manner.

**Requirements:**

  • A background in the farming sector or relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Retail sales or customer service skills and experience.
  • Sound computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Physical fitness to perform lifting and manual handling tasks.

**Bonus Points:**

  • A forklift licence.
  • A first aid licence.
