About the Opportunity

Tupu Ora is a community-based regional eating disorders service providing assessment and evidence-based treatment for children, young people, and adults with acute and complex eating disorders in the metro Auckland region.

This specific role is at the front end of our service, and we are looking for an experienced mental health nurse to manage referrals, provide assessments, and liaise appropriately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and triage all referrals
  • Deal with enquiries from GPs, the public, referrers, and hospitals
  • Work alongside specialist clinicians in completing assessments and liaison with other services

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Registered mental health professional with full and clean NZ driver's license
  • Acute mental health experience or knowledge
  • Strong clinical competencies and high level of time management and organizational skills
