About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Immunologist and Immunopathologist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art laboratory, supporting advanced research and diagnostics. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you'll have the chance to contribute to the development of laboratory diagnostic services, particularly in autoimmune serology, allergy, and immunodeficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnosing and managing allergic diseases, autoimmune conditions, and primary immunodeficiencies
- Supporting the development of laboratory diagnostic services, particularly in autoimmune serology, allergy, and immunodeficiency
- Contributing to the teaching of medical and scientific staff and supporting research initiatives
- Providing consultative and advisory services for laboratory testing and clinical case interpretation
- Participating in quality assurance, clinical governance, and interdisciplinary collaboration
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (or equivalent)
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand, including vocational registration in the specialty
- Laboratory experience in immunology at a senior level
- A current Annual Practicing Certificate and medical indemnity insurance
