Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Surgical Admissions Unit (SAU) at Whakatane Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert nursing care to patients undergoing various acute and elective surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing patients' needs and developing individualized care plans
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes in patient condition

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A current NZ nursing registration and practising certificate
  • Recent experience in acute and/or perioperative settings
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A passion for quality and patient-centered care
