About the Position

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Animal Services Officer to join our team at the Western Bay of Plenty District Council. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about animal welfare and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for addressing complaints related to dog attacks and roaming livestock, conducting thorough investigations and presenting evidence in court when required. They will also maintain accurate records and reports, provide exceptional customer service to our community and collaborate with other teams to achieve outcomes.
