**Job Overview**
Waikato District Health Board is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fellow in Cardiothoracic Surgery to join our team at Waikato Hospital.
As a Fellow, you will gain valuable experience in complex adult cardiac surgery, including aortic root and arch surgery, multiple valve replacement and repair, rheumatic heart disease, off pump and arterial revascularisation, thoracic aortic surgery including stenting and hybrid aortic procedures.
**About the Role**
The fellowship provides opportunities to work with an experienced cardiothoracic surgical team, performing over 650 open heart procedures per year. You will be involved in various aspects of cardiac surgery, including pre-operative assessment, perioperative care, and post-operative management.
