**Job Overview**

FIS Cloud SRE seeks an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team in New Zealand. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure in Azure.

**Responsibilities Include:**

  • Designing and implementing next-gen Infrastructure as Code (IaC) ecosystems
  • Understanding and implementing a Well-Architected Framework for high-performance, highly available, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure
  • Automating manual and repetitive tasks to reduce operational toil
  • Deploying and enhancing cloud services such as Container Services, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Databases, monitoring, and alerting tools
  • Maintaining ongoing improvement of processes and best practices to meet security, cost, and agility requirements
  • Contributing to and maintaining design and process documentation
  • Continually seeking opportunities to improve SLA/Uptime and minimize customer impacts

**Requirements:**

  • Experience building cloud infrastructure in a commercial setting using Terraform Enterprise (TFE) and associated technologies
  • Experience building high availability publicly facing ecosystems with 24/7 uptime and 99.99%+ SLA
  • Broad knowledge of enterprise-level information technology building blocks (e.g., Networking, Databases, Messaging, RBAC)
  • Effective prioritization and workload management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
