About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Disability Support Services team as a Portfolio Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for commissioning high-quality services that deliver better outcomes for disabled people.
In this role, you will work closely with service providers, disabled individuals, whanau, and other stakeholders to ensure that services meet the needs of those who require them. You will also be responsible for managing contracts, measuring performance, and ensuring value for money.
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent business acumen, strong procurement and contract management skills, and the ability to work independently. You will also need to be able to build and maintain effective relationships with service providers and stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of disabled people and has a strong understanding of the machinery of government and the New Zealand disability sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning disability support services to achieve enhanced outcomes.
- Contributing to the design, planning, prioritisation and development of disability services.
- Procuring services for improved results.
- Measuring, analysing, assessing, monitoring and evaluating providers and support.
- Managing performance of third-party commissioned providers to ensure contractual outcomes and performance expectations are met.
- Responding to Ministerial requests, OIAs, and information provision in a timely and effective way.
- Building and maintaining open, transparent, and effective relationships with service providers.
We offer a competitive salary range of $103,071.00 - $128,265.00 per year, depending on your level of experience.
