Job Overview
This role is part of our civil construction team in Timaru. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy plant and machinery to support road maintenance and civil construction projects.
Main Responsibilities
Operate specialized machinery for excavation and road maintenance
Assist in planning and coordinating work activities with foreman/supervisor
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth project delivery
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Full Class 2 licence (Class 4 preferred) and at least 3 years' experience in the industry
Proven ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and supervisors
