Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with structural analysts, designers, manufacturing engineers, and prototyping team members to develop and execute design and certification strategies for mechanical structures and mechanisms across the Neutron launch vehicle.
  • Combine technical expertise with strengths in project planning, coordination, and communication.
  • Define and document material architectural decisions from component to system level, including material selection, properties, and design allowables; process definition and control; inspection methods; and practices for continuous improvement.
  • Design and coordinate testing to generate material property databases for metallic components.
  • Initiate, manage, and control projects involving internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, scope adherence, and budget optimization.
