**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Laboratory Scientist to join our team in Hamilton, NZ. As a member of our multidisciplinary laboratory team, you will ensure the provision of high-quality diagnostic testing services for IDEXX Reference Laboratories.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Apply professional knowledge in biochemistry and haematology, exercising professional judgement in interpretation, verification, laboratory analyses, tests, and validation of results.
- Ensure the highest level of accuracy by performing, supervising, and acting upon quality control procedures, setting up instruments, preparing, running, interpreting, and releasing results while troubleshooting performance in compliance with IANZ certification requirements.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor of Medical Science or equivalent degree.
- Experience working in a diagnostics laboratory, ideally within biochemistry and haematology.
- Understanding of IANZ and ISO 17025 standards.
