Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tower Crane Plant Manager to join our Auckland team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy machinery and plant
  • Maintaining and servicing tower cranes and construction hoists
  • Scheduling and overseeing routine maintenance of machinery
  • Utilizing computer systems for diagnostics and repairs
  • Completing daily equipment inspections and maintenance paperwork
  • Supporting mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require at least 5 years of hands-on experience with tower crane repairs and maintenance. An automotive qualification is beneficial, but not essential. You should be confident in diagnosing issues, organising repairs, and carrying out servicing.

A full Class 1 New Zealand driver's license is also necessary, as well as knowledge of NZTA regulations.

You should be a natural leader, experienced in managing teams, handling rostering and leave requests, and giving performance feedback.

Organisational skills and comfort with complex lift plans, business proposals, and reports are essential.

Safety must always be at the forefront of your work, and you should be passionate about keeping everyone safe on the job.

You should possess strong people skills, building positive relationships with customers, team members, suppliers, and subcontractors alike.
