About the Role

This key position involves leading the transition of corporate services, working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and related agencies. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure NEMA continuously delivers on its strategic priorities and operational outcomes.
  • Engage with NEMA Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and related agencies to successfully transfer roles and responsibilities.
  • Work alongside governance structures, facilitating robust decision-making processes and the development of high-quality transition planning.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to aid NEMA's requirements.

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in project management, organisational frameworks, planning, and corporate service models.
  • Proven experience operating within and influencing governance frameworks and working within the public sector.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholder relationships and delivery of complex projects.
  • Experience with financial models and corporate services disciplines.
  • Understanding of emergency management, the CDEM Act 2002, the National CDEM Plan, Guide, and supporting plans.
  • Familiarity with the Public Finance Act 1989, and Public Service Act 2020.
