About The Opportunity

Outlier is looking for talented History experts to contribute their expertise and help train generative artificial intelligence models. This freelance opportunity is remote, allowing you to work flexibly and choose your own hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the factuality and relevance of domain-specific text produced by AI models.
  • Craft and answer questions related to History.
  • Evaluate and rank domain-specific responses generated by AI models.

Requirements:

A bachelor's or higher degree in History or a related subject is desirable, along with experience working as a History professional. The ability to write clearly about concepts related to History in fluent English is essential.

Compensation:

Pay rates for core project work range from $20 to $40 per hour USD. Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project need, and other factors. Higher rates may be offered to PhDs, while lower rates apply to non-core work such as initial project onboarding or project overtime phases.
