About the Role

As a project engineer at Cb Civil, you will be responsible for developing construction plans, managing project execution, conducting site investigations, analysing data, and overseeing technical review and inspections. You will also coordinate with clients, partners, and subcontractors, manage scheduling, planning, survey, procurement, and ensure QHSE planning and compliance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement construction plans to ensure successful project delivery
  • Conduct site investigations and analyse data to inform project decisions
  • Oversee technical review and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with clients, partners, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Manage project schedules, plans, surveys, and procurements to ensure timely and within-budget completion
  • Ensure QHSE planning and compliance throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in a project engineer role in NZ, UK, or Australia
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience working with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Project, or similar software
  • Strong understanding of site layout, utility design, grading, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent commercial acumen in budgeting, cost control, and forecasting
  • Proven expertise in project delivery, including surveying and permits
