**Job Summary**

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Southern Health. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve excellent outcomes.

In this role, you will be responsible for formulating nursing plans, evaluating treatments, and providing emotional support to patients and their families. You will also participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the unit.

To be successful in this role, you will require strong communication skills, a caring nature, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You must also hold current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC, with the right to work in New Zealand.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
  • Formulate nursing plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the unit.
