About the Role

This position requires a highly motivated individual with experience in painting and using various methods to remove graffiti from urban landscapes. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop the city's park network, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and aesthetic appeal.
  • Remove graffiti from urban landscapes using various methods such as water blasting, painting, and chemicals.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and policies.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Possess a Painting Trade qualification or equivalent.
  • Hold a Current Driver's License.
  • Hold a First Aid Certificate.
  • Have knowledge of the Worksafe NZ Act and its requirements.
  • Be able to maintain vehicles, plants, and equipment.
  • Be able to work at heights.
  • Have at least three years of painting experience.
