Sustainable Horticulture Expert for Papua New Guinea

Develop your expertise in sustainable horticulture practices by joining our team as a Horticulture Trainer Advisor in Papua New Guinea. This full-time volunteering opportunity will span 6-9 months, during which you will work closely with local communities to enhance food security and promote environmentally friendly agricultural methods.
This is a unique chance to make a lasting impact across the Pacific and contribute to the development of sustainable agriculture in Papua New Guinea. You will have the opportunity to engage with diverse stakeholders, including farmers, policymakers, and community leaders, to share your knowledge and best practices.
Your responsibilities will include designing and delivering training programs, conducting site visits, and providing guidance to local farmers on sustainable horticulture techniques. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other experts in the field to develop innovative solutions to challenges facing small-scale farmers in Papua New Guinea.
As a volunteer with VSA, you will receive comprehensive support, including flights, accommodation, and other expenses covered. You will also be part of a vibrant community of volunteers who are passionate about making a difference in the world.
