As a Business Improvements Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of EIT's operations. Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive support and troubleshooting for the institution's academic administration systems, ensuring their integrity and performance.

Additionally, you will conduct detailed analysis of student management and performance data, producing accurate and timely reports that inform strategic decision-making. You will also maintain and upgrade student management systems, ensuring compliance with government policies and regulations.

In collaboration with EIT staff and external stakeholders, you will provide technical advice and system information, participating in relevant meetings and user groups. To succeed in this role, you will need a strong educational background in a relevant discipline, significant experience in business analysis, data analytics, and business intelligence, as well as proficiency in key software applications such as SQL, PowerBI, Excel, and SSRS.

Requirements

Essential qualifications for this role include:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline
  • Significant experience in business analysis, data analytics, and business intelligence within medium to large organizations, particularly in vocational education and data management
  • Proficiency in SQL, PowerBI, Excel, and SSRS
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand organizational performance drivers and operational processes
  • Experience with reporting tools
