About the Role

This role offers a unique opportunity to work as a true generalist, with responsibilities spanning strategic planning, employee relations, culture-building, hands-on HR work, and global project collaboration. You'll be expected to:

  • Provide expert advice to managers and employees on HR matters, including performance coaching and management, leadership development, and compliance with NZ employment law.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with NZ employment law.
  • Support local recruitment processes, including scheduling, interviewing, and assisting with high-volume hiring periods.
  • Lead onboarding and offboarding initiatives to create a seamless employee experience.
  • Manage several global People Team software tools.
  • Collaborate with our US HR team to align global people strategies with local needs.
