The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Partner to join our team as we strive for excellence in health and safety management. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organisation by driving change and improvement in our health and safety systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the implementation of our refreshed health and safety system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and fostering a culture of safety.
  • Collaborating with managers and teams to embed our policies and procedures, providing expert guidance and coaching as needed.

You will also play a key role in supporting the rollout and embedding of our newly refreshed health and safety critical risk program.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in health and safety principles and practices.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a generalist health and safety role, preferably with a degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence effectively with empathy.
  • Proven experience in coaching or training, business writing, and communication.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Full NZ Driver's Licence.
