We are seeking highly skilled Critical Care Specialists to join our team at Auckland City Hospital, a leading healthcare institution dedicated to serving over half a million individuals. Our 26-bed adult ICU is renowned for its expertise in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures, offering unparalleled learning prospects in New Zealand.
Job Description
This 24-hour service provides intensive care for elective and acute cases, catering to the needs of patients undergoing heart and lung transplants, LVAD implantations, and ECMO. As a Critical Care Specialist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that delivers high-quality patient care while promoting professional growth through ongoing education and subsidized postgraduate studies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with Annual Practicing Certificate and at least 2-3 years post-registration experience in ICU/HDU
- Registration from Nursing Council of NZ
- Collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and capability to work both independently and collaboratively
