The EPMO is the centre of excellence for the management and delivery of initiatives, leading the Department's Investment Management Framework. As the Principal Adviser within the Investment & Benefits team, you'll work closely with senior stakeholders to provide technical expertise and leadership in economic evaluation and investment management.

You'll assess investment risks and assumptions, providing critical feedback on significant business cases. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing investment strategies that align with the Department's priorities
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure investments achieve their intended benefits
  • Providing insights to inform decision-making through data-driven analysis and reporting

To succeed in this role, you'll have comprehensive knowledge of investment management and governance frameworks, including Treasury's investment framework and Better Business Cases. You'll also have strong experience in benefit realisation, including identification, monitoring, and measurement.
