About the RoleThis fixed-term, part-time position offers an opportunity to deliver expert care and leadership within the ED. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing patient outcomes through advanced clinical expertise.
Your Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Act as a resource and provide education for the ED nursing team, wider clinical teams, and patients/whānau.
- Lead or contribute to service improvement initiatives within the ED, driving clinical excellence and innovation.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Significant emergency nursing experience and advanced clinical practice skills.
- Proven teaching and mentoring abilities to support clinical teams.
- A post-graduate qualification (or working toward) in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience in quality improvement and service development.
