About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Waiheke Hostel Director to join our team at Auckland Council. As the director of Waiheke Backpackers Hostel, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the hostel, while ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service and operational excellence.

Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing business strategies, managing the hostel's budget, and working closely with local stakeholders to promote the hostel and its services.

You will also be expected to lead and inspire a team of staff, provide continuous improvement training, rostering, recruitment, and staff management, while ensuring the smooth operation of the hostel.
