We are currently seeking a skilled Technical Communicator to join our team. As a Technical Communicator, you will be responsible for creating a range of technical content, including documentation, video tutorials, and other multimedia formats.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop Technical Content: Create high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, online help systems, API documentation, release notes, and training materials.
  2. Collaborate with Product Teams: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to gather information, analyze complex technical concepts, and translate them into clear and concise formats.
  3. Analyze User Behavior: Utilize analytics tools to track user behavior, measure document and video effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Conduct User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure that documentation and video content are user-friendly and meet user needs.
  5. Manage Multiple Projects: Manage multiple documentation and video projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

What You'll Need:

  • Experience and Qualifications:
    • 3+ years of experience in technical writing or a related field.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in technical writing tools and software (e.g., MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Office Suite).
    • Experience with content management systems (CMS).
    • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
    • Experience in video capture tools (Loom, Camtasia, Adobe).
  • Desirable Skills and Experience:
    • Experience with technical writing standards (e.g., DITA, DocBook).
    • Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
    • Experience with user research and usability testing.
