The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Consultant Geriatrician to join our team at Dunedin Hospital. As a key member of our Older People's Health Service, you will play a vital role in providing clinical leadership and support to inpatient, outpatient, and community services.
Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive geriatric assessment and management of older patients
- Developing and implementing patient-centered care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Leading and mentoring junior medical staff and allied health professionals
Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must hold Vocational/Specialist Registration in Geriatric Medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You should also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
