About the Role

This rotational pharmacist position offers hands-on experience across various services within a tertiary facility renowned for high-quality care in specialties such as medical, surgical, mental health, cardiology, renal, critical care, paediatrics, and more.

You will rotate through all areas of our pharmacy service, including clinical and ward work, haematology, oncology, and compounding teams, as well as the quality and safe use of medicines team, and both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy settings.

This role includes occasional weekend shifts compensated at overtime rates, plus opportunities to participate in the on-call roster as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Registration with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand
  • A current annual practising certificate with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand
  • New graduates and community pharmacists welcome to apply
  • Desirable 3+ years of experience as a pharmacist
  • Hospital level experience
  • Post-graduate qualification in clinical pharmacy
  • Current New Zealand driver's license
