Role Summary

We are recruiting midwives for our Birthing and Assessment unit at Middlemore Hospital. As a midwife in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to women during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.

Responsibilities

  • Caring for women from 20 weeks gestation in primary and secondary care settings.
  • Working on the Maternity Floor with antenatal and postnatal women.
  • Maintaining a full scope of practice as a midwife.

Requirements

  • NZ Registered Midwife with a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
  • 1-2 years recent clinical experience, post registration.
  • Desirable: Experience in working in a multi-disciplinary team.
