Job Responsibilities: Develop and analyse flight dynamic models for uncrewed fixed wings and rotorcrafts. Perform stability, control, and performance assessments for new/existing designs and optimise flight performance metrics. Collaborate with the mechanical team to refine airframe and control surface configurations for improved aerodynamic efficiency. Conduct aerodynamic and flight simulations and assess handling qualities with the aid of computational tools. Utilise computational tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, CFD software, and flight dynamics analysis software to support design and optimisation. Define test plans and support flight test programs, including data analysis and validation. Work closely with the avionics team to integrate sensors and flight control systems for enhanced performance and stability.

Requirements: Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent Engineering or Applied Physics degree. Minimum 3+ years of experience in in flight dynamics modelling, stability & control analysis, and performance evaluation. Strong understanding of aircraft, helicopter and UAS designs, systems, aerodynamics. Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and CFD tools (such as ANSYS Fluent or SolidWorks flow simulation etc.) for flight mechanics applications. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++ is a plus. Familiarity with flight testing procedures and data analysis techniques. Understanding of aircraft/rotorcraft regulatory requirements. Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment and communicate technical findings effectively.
