**Job Description**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated **Y5–6 Teacher** to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English, Health and Physical Education, Learning Languages, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social Sciences, Technology, Te Reo Maori, and The Arts to students in Years 5 and 6.
**Key Responsibilities**
The successful candidate will:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students;
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement;
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods;
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.
**Requirements**
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor of Teaching or equivalent qualification;
- Valid registration with the New Zealand Teachers Council;
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting; and
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
