About the Role
Robert Walters New Zealand seeks an exceptional individual to fill the position of Executive Leader of Judicial Policy. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the Chief Justice, President of the Court of Appeal, and Chief Judge of the High Court in their leadership and administrative responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- To coordinate all advice provided from across the office, ensuring work is prioritized and resources deployed effectively to support the Chief Justice's strategic priorities.
- To lead complex change and develop policy and services that achieve the judiciary's strategic objectives: developing and maintaining a system of justice that is just, fair, modern, and effective.
Requirements
- A relevant tertiary qualification preferably in law or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience.
- Advanced governance-support and strategic management skills.
- Excellent communication (both oral and written) and presentation skills.
- The ability to handle sensitive issues with high standards of personal integrity and judgement.
Benefits
- A competitive salary range of $191,000 - $206,000 per annum.

- Four weeks' annual leave.
