Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Early Discharge and Rehabilitation Service (EDARS) team.
About EDARS:
- Our service delivers individually prescribed rehabilitation to patients based on their specific needs and goals via either intensive early supported discharge or less intensive community-based rehabilitation.
- We focus on providing a comprehensive and coordinated home-based rehabilitation service for people in the Waitemata community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of an established inter-disciplinary team to deliver best practice rehabilitation through a patient-centered approach.
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new patient care models and service development initiatives.
Requirements:
- New Zealand registered Occupational Therapist with current APC.
- 5+ years relevant rehabilitation experience.
- Strong assessment and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
