The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Retail Operations Manager to lead our retail operations field team and support office team. You will work closely with our merchandise and marketing teams, as well as our 370 retailer members, to develop an industry-leading retail program and support model. Your focus will be on driving the growth of our network's success within New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to improve franchise performance, focusing on sales growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure all franchise locations comply with company standards, local laws, and regulations related to the sale of alcohol.
- Provide comprehensive training to franchisees on store operations, product knowledge, customer service, and compliance with legal requirements.
- Monitor and analyze sales data, financial reports, and customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts between the franchisor and franchisees.
- Assist franchisees in developing and implementing business plans, setting goals, and creating action plans to achieve them.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to implement marketing and promotional campaigns.
- Conduct regular audits of franchise locations to ensure compliance with brand standards.
Your Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
- Previous field team management experience.
- Strong selling, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, including presentations to groups.
- Commercial acumen.
- Intermediate MS Office skills.
