Opportunity Summary
We are seeking an experienced Clinician to join our Adult Community Mental Health & Addiction Services team at the Lakes Opioid Treatment Service (LOTS). As a Clinician, you will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide specialist intervention and case coordination for individuals in recovery. You will also be responsible for providing community mental health care based on current best practice and developing sound legislative knowledge, particularly as pertains to the SACAT Act.
Key Requirements
- You are a registered Nurse or other suitably qualified health professional with experience in a community mental health and/or addictions environment.
- You possess sound assessment, psychosocial intervention and talking therapy skills.
- You are competent in all facets of assessment, holistic care and multi-disciplinary teamwork and have demonstrated ability to work with all ethnicities, particularly Maori/Iwi.
- You hold an Annual Practising Certificate and are registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand or other regulatory body.
