Job Description

The New Zealand Government is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cadastral Surveyor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of New Zealand's land information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Land Information Management: Collaborate with the Surveyor-General to establish and maintain standards for cadastral and geodetic survey systems.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Conduct audits and monitor compliance to ensure the integrity of land information.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical solutions, dispensation requests, and investigations of anomalies to support our survey customers.

Requirements and Benefits

To succeed in this role, you must possess a NZ Cadastral Survey License or be eligible to obtain one. Previous experience in cadastral surveying in NZ is advantageous, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities. We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000, depending on skills and experience, as well as a diverse work environment and opportunities for professional growth and development.
