We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Burwood Hospital. As a member of our outpatient services team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients who have experienced mental health conditions and/or dementia, and to make a positive impact on their lives.

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing education and resources to promote independence and well-being. You will also work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

Key Requirements:

  • Registration with the NZ Occupational Therapy Board and current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Competency with Te Ao Māori, tikanga, and Te Reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience working with patients with dementia and/or mental health conditions
