**About the Role**

We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee the Gateway Programme at Rototuna Senior High School. The successful candidate will work closely with staff, students, and external partners to deliver an effective pathways curriculum.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the Gateway Programme, ensuring students are placed in meaningful workplace experiences aligned with their career goals.
  • Support students by preparing them for work placements, including pre-placement visits and coaching conversations.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with employers, industry contacts, and community partners for Gateway opportunities.
  • Ensure all required documentation, including Gateway agreements, student records, and achievement reports, are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Plan and deliver Gateway-focused workshops, ensuring students are equipped with the skills required to thrive post-school.

About You

  • Experience in Gateway coordination, career advising, educational support and/or related roles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and external partners.
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive education and empowering students to achieve their goals.
  • A proactive, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to supporting student success.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
