Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Otolaryngologist to join our team at Wellington Regional Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing elective and acute services as part of the on-call roster.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing a range of acute and elective general ORL surgery
• Providing undergraduate teaching and supervision of registrars in the otolaryngology training rotation
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality medical care

About Our Team

Our department currently consists of ten general and subspecialist surgeons who provide a wide range of services to the greater Wellington region and tertiary-level care for the wider region. We work closely with oncology, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, paediatric and neurosurgery services.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to be vocationally registered in Otolaryngology with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) and have FRACS or equivalent qualifications. You will also need to be able to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and provide consistently high standards of medical care.
