The Role:

  • This position involves managing and maintaining the Quality Assurance Programme to ensure conformity to the custom Food Control Plan.
  • You will conduct assigned internal audits in accordance with the audit programme and respond to customer service requests for investigations into complaints.
  • You will provide obsessive service and support to internal departments requiring assistance from the quality team.
  • You will efficiently manage product and systems non-conformances to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • You will have detailed knowledge of food safety legislation, standards, and codes.
  • You will have demonstrated experience implementing food control plans, quality management systems, and incident investigations.
  • You will have food safety auditing experience and experience in coordinating Quality Management Systems.
  • You will have experience in continuous improvement, including tools, investigations, and data analysis.
  • You will have a relevant tertiary qualification in Food Science or Food Technology and a minimum of 5 years of Quality Assurance experience in the food industry.
