Salary and Benefits

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing and managing projects worldwide in support of the US Department of Defense and other federal agencies. The salary range for this position is $100k to $130k per annum, based on market data and experience level.

Job Description

We provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. As a Civil Engineer, you will lead efforts to rebuild critical infrastructure and oversee projects from initiation to completion while ensuring they are done in a timely manner, within budget, and up to quality standards.

  • Develop project plans, design, and budget estimates.
  • Review and approve technical construction designs.
  • Track and manage project expenditures.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project deliverables and monitor progress.
  • Lead coordination with other USAID bureaus/offices and international agencies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in the role:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering is essential.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license obtained from the resident country.
  • Preferably fluent in Ukrainian.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in infrastructure design, management, and oversight.
