About the Role:This role offers a chance to work in all aspects of cardiac electrophysiology, including EP studies, ablation, 3D mapping, device implants, outpatient clinics, and ward management. You will be part of a dynamic team working towards improving health outcomes for all New Zealanders.
Waikato Hospital performs over 300 EP studies and 600 device implants each year. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in our department and contribute to our mission to improve health outcomes for all New Zealanders.
About the Team/Service/Location:Waikato Hospital is a leading cardiac centre providing a wide range of adult cardiac services. The department supports 5 regional secondary care hospitals and is part of a well-established and dynamic team of 22 healthcare professionals.
About You:We are seeking experienced cardiologists who can bring their skills and expertise to our team. Candidates should have completed advanced training in Cardiology (FRACP or equivalent) and be eligible for provisional vocational / vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
