We really are a company that wants to make a positive difference.He whakamarama mo te turanga mahi | About the roleAs a BI Developer, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain the BI solutions that enable the organization to make data-driven decisions.
You will work closely with key stakeholders, including business analysts and data engineers, to create and optimize reports, dashboards, and analytics tools that deliver actionable insights.Your role will involve developing efficient and scalable data models, transforming raw data into meaningful visualizations, and ensuring that BI solutions are aligned with business requirements.
Additionally, you will be responsible for integrating data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy, and implementing best practices in data management and visualization.In this position, you will collaborate with the BI team to continuously improve and innovate the BI environment, keeping up with emerging trends in BI and analytics.
You will actively contribute to the overall BI architecture by supporting advanced analytics, automating reporting processes, and enhancing the user experience.A key part of your role will be troubleshooting and optimizing existing BI solutions, ensuring the performance, accuracy, and reliability of the reports and dashboards.
You will also have the opportunity to develop new BI solutions that drive business insights and help the organization achieve its goals.By bringing your technical expertise and passion for data to the team, you will help foster a data-driven culture that empowers departments across the organization to make informed, strategic decisions.Setting business requirements for BI tools.Translating business requirements into technical ones.Leading BI software development, deployment, and maintenance.Report curation and data modelling.Participation in data warehouse design.Documenting contents in a data warehouse and meta-data storage.Creating technical documentation for BI tools.Recommend improvements to provide optimum reporting solutions.Support and enhance the ways of working and development practices across applications.Ensure value delivery and speed within the cross-functional teams.Applies technical expertise across products to support cross-functional squad members and delivery.Cross-skills across core products and develops a strong understanding of the digital product landscape.Drive application value by leading complex functional/process analysis and development.Facilitate collaboration and workshops with cross-functional squads to co-design innovative solutions.Understand the customer journey and translate it into user stories.
