We are seeking an experienced, solutions and systems focussed Operational Manager to come and join our team on a full time basis.We have 16 Kindergartens throughout Napier, as the Operations Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operational processes, ensuring compliance, efficiency, effectiveness and high quality outcomes.
One of the number one qualities we are looking for is someone that has the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with our fabulous team, children and communities.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain strong relationships with our teams, whanau and communities.Develop and implement operational strategies and plans to achieve Napier Kindergarten Associations strategic goals.Oversee and manage day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.Manage and mentor a team of operational staff, providing guidance, training and support.Manage Human Resources and the Health and Safety of the organisation.Collaborate with other colleagues to ensure seamless operations and alignment.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations in the ECE sector and Kindergarten specific requirements.Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience in operations management, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.Experience in human resource management and the associated processes is required.A strong understanding of the Health and Safety and Human resources requirements of our sector.A passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and growth.A challenging and rewarding work environment.Closing date: Close of business 15 April 2025
